Following a 2010 fall tour with Nickelback, Three Days Grace took some well-deserved time off to rest, spend time at home with family and even begin working on a new album. When they returned to the road in the spring of 2011, they played a brief round of club dates, much to the delight of their fans. As an added bonus, they brought fellow Canadian band My Darkest Days to open. Not only are many members of both bands from the small town of Norwood, Ontario, but My Darkest Days vocalist Matt Walst is the little brother of Three Days Grace bassist Brad Walst. It was truly a family and friends affair.

Live ‘N Loud’s Karen Van Hoff sat down with Adam Gontier and Brad Walst of Three Days Grace for a candid interview. Watch Part 1 of the video here right now and stay tuned for Part 2. Also make sure to check out the photos from the tour.
